Enceladus828 Posted August 5 Posted August 5 No further FC maps look to be added but that doesn't there cannot be mods depicting the Italian Front, Galicia (Brusilov and Kerensky offensives), and the 1917-18 Romanian Front on the Odessa map. We have the Nieuports, SPADs, Sopwiths and the Hanriot for the Entente Powers.

We have the Nieuports, SPADs, Sopwiths and the Hanriot for the Entente Powers. The general procedure could be: 1) Someone has to find a suitable area on an existing map that is at least a bit similar to the new location. 2) too big ww2 airfields, e.g.with tarmac runways have to be replaced by small grass airfields (activate surface editing, delete surfaces of big airfields, select with mouse the surfaces of a small grass airfield, copy and paste on required location. This to be done for each required season version of the map in exact the same way. But I think for WW1 this can be simplified: as far as I know for ww1 planes no smooth surfaces are required for take off, each existing meadow is suitable. 3) The GUI mapstiles (in 3 detail levels) have to be edited with e.g. Gimp: Existing town labels to be changed to new names. This is very time consuming. Note: for Kuban map an empty, unlabeled GUI map by Off_Winters is already existing. From my point of view the GUI mapstiles can be simplified / only one (medium) detail level to be used. I have done this on my Kurland mod. 4) Optional: If required EMG by Vander could be adapted for quick mission generation. (or QMB or AQMB if anyone has the know how). The whole task / project would be very, very time consuming from my experience... Example: Edited October 3 by kraut1
