Hello.
I have many questions about RoF and hope somebody can help me with them.  I'll start with the subject in the title.

I got RoF after getting and discovering FC does not have the Flander map.  I was very happy to see airfields at Oye and Le Fresne in RoF but when I get in game, I do not see RAF 217, RAF 218 nor FMAF (1st Marine Aviation Force) squadrons which operated Dayton-Wright Liberty powered DH-4s (and DH-9s) from Oye and Le Fresne as part of the Northern Bombing Group.  I am wondering if anybody knows if and where I can get those squadrons and if there is a Liberty powered DH-4 mod as well as USMC skins for the DH-4.  Better yet, if there is already a Northern Bombing Group career/campaign and if not, what resources I will need to create one (I've got the dates and names, for the most part).

I have PWCG v17.1.1 for FC and v3.2.2 for RoF but see people talking about v16.x.x for RoF and am wondering where to get it and/or if the FC version and RoF version are interchangeable.  I have made the squadrons in PWCG for FC already, just stationed them well in the North.

I have seen many mods and have been getting some but need to know in which order to install, if there is an easy, noob friendly install guide, so I'm not overwriting or messing up the already included DLC?  I have RoF v1.037 from Steam and got it years if not a decade ago, then got all the DLC yesterday (August 2, 2025).

When in game, the F1 view has me sitting with my nose pressed to the windscreen so I use the assigned keys to zoom out and move back so I can have some peripheral vision and see my instrument panel and then use either look around or padlock to get eyes on target but when I go to replay, the view is defaulting back to pressing my nose to the windscreen and not looking down the scope.  When I try to padlock ground or air targets, it takes me to the outside view.  I would like to say in cockpit and use the padlock instead of using the mouse to look around (alt+F1) in replay mode so when I make a video, it's from 1st person view.  Also in replay, is there a way to change to the gunner's view?  If I recall correctly, even playing as the gunner, the replay starts with the pilot's view and I can't get to the gunner's view (or was that in FC?).

I have to use the keyboard for rudder control and don't mind it snapping back to center when I release the key, but on take-off and landing, it's sometimes tough to get enough rudder or I will end up with too much rudder (while in FC I can tap the right key a few times to 'trim' it and then center it with another key after getting airborne).  Is there is a 'trim' I haven't found yet I can use on take-off and then reset to center?

Is there way to bail out in RoF and are their parachutes for late in the war (German)?  I will sometimes get out of shape on landing (see rudder question) and want to jump out before it rolls over and kills me, taking a chance there, I recall in Red Baron 3D I'd jump out after landing and parking and still die, while in B.A.T. I could jump from some aeroplanes and run off and dive for cover which is actually helpful when I make it back to my aerodrome with enemy strafing me).

Which mods would ya'll recommend to make RoF the best it can be?  Is anybody else interested in Northern Bombing Group because I have been searching high and low and have yet to find anything for RoF or FC (makes sense for FC since there is no Flanders) and am about to try WoFF if RoF doesn't workout.

For this board, how do I 'like' a post, change my profile pic, add a signature, etc?  I'm figuring since I'm a noob I have to participate before being allowed such things but just want to confirm I'm not missing something.

Now, the most important part of the message...  I have searched and not found the answers or I wouldn't be asking.  I really dig the "Knights of the Air" (played and GM'd that board game for decades), played Red Baron/Red Baron II, Red Baron 3D and worked at Sierra Online in the late 90s doing CSR and tech support.  If you ever called into Sierra Online for account or tech support, there is a chance I was the person who helped you so please be considerate and understanding if you reply.

I appreciate any assistance.

Thank you for your time.
