Panzerlang Posted August 1 Posted August 1 Can we please have the option to stay in 1st-person mode in bail-outs? 🙏 3 6
MajorMagee Posted August 1 Posted August 1 For some aircraft (Mig-15, F-86) the parachute deployment was an automatic part of the ejection sequence. For others, like the F-84, you had to manually unbuckle from the seat and then activate your chute. Then there were the older aircraft that still required opening the canopy and throwing yourself over the side.
Avimimus Posted August 1 Posted August 1 I would second the call for 1st person bailouts! There was a glitch in Il-2 which caused them briefly, and it was terrifying... very immersive and dramatic. 2
Mysticpuma Posted October 11 Posted October 11 DCS does it pretty well and I assume with the better animations and motion capture the team (Korea) are using, this would look spectacular, especially in VR. 1

Cliffs of Dover even has this You also go through the whole process. Jettison canopy then bail when you want. If we had the option to pull the D-Ring that would really be excellent 1
II./JG27_Rich Posted Sunday at 05:54 PM Posted Sunday at 05:54 PM (edited) Sorry for going on and on here but there's something DCS does that I like also. When the pilot gets injured the gasping and moaning really does make me panic all the more. The older you get the more fumbling around with the buttons...sweating etcetera especially with P-51's 50 cals banging into you. Edited Sunday at 05:56 PM by II./JG27_Rich
