ST_Catchov Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Dudes, I'm signing up with my ISP for 5G wireless broadband because it's much cheaper than going fibre with the same up/down speeds. 5G wireless broadband and FTTP have recently been introduced to my area see. I've always preferred cable because of the secure connection but money talks so I wanna give it a shot. The deal I'm getting is way cheaper than the current crap FTTN service I'm getting and with much better speeds. I've never been happy with the NBN broadband fibre service here in Australia to date (prior to FTTP at least) which has been a factor in my decision .... but I can always take the hit and go FTTP at any time if 5G doesn't cut it. So the question is, does 5G work well enough in MP for those that use it? Dropouts and consistent speeds are my main concerns.
Zooropa_Fly Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Without addressing the technical aspect of your question, my general advice would be to use wireless devices as little as possible.
