STEEL WING OVER SMOLENSK

The sun had barely touched the frozen horizon when the 1/Jagdfliegerstaffel Spanien squadron took off from a makeshift airfield amid the snowy forests of the Russian front. Pilot Wind75 strained his ears to the hoarse sound of his Bf 109 G-6, while to his right, his comrade Zetas checked the instruments with the precision of a surgeon. They knew the sky that day would be hell.

AN IMPOSSIBLE MISSION

The Luftwaffe was outnumbered. Command reported: “More than twenty Soviet fighters are escorting bombers over Smolensk. Our defense is you two.” No one complained. Wind75 and Zetas looked at each other in silence, as if that gesture was enough to recall years of shared flight, simulator runs, and nights of strategy.

THE SKY AS A TRENCH

The Yak-3s appeared like shadows in the sun. Wind75 banked first, diving and slicing through the air with Iberian fury. Zetas covered him, firing precise bursts that sent three fighters evading. Although there were fewer of them, they fought like legions.

Wind75 managed to position his Bf 109 behind a Pe-2 bomber. He pulled the trigger: fire, smoke, fall. But there was no celebration. An La-5FN came straight for him. Zetas, fast as lightning, cut in, fired, and swept it away. Both knew that without that maneuver, the sky would have lost one of their own.

THE HONORABLE RETREAT

The ammunition counter flashed: 0. Damage to the left wing. But they made it: five enemies down, mission aborted for the Soviets. On the way back to base, the engines squealed like taut ropes. Zetas landed first, followed by Wind75, who barely stabilized the landing gear.

THE REAL FLIGHT

That night, in the briefing room, there were no speeches. Just a phrase written in chalk on the blackboard: "Where two fly as one, not even the sky can stop them." The roar of the Russian air still buzzed in their ears, but they knew they were legends. Although few saw them, virtual history had already inscribed them in its sky.

Disculpa, ¿esto es un mod, una campaña con guion en curso, un anuncio, una declaración o una campaña? Estoy confundido.

It's simply an image created for printing with the "BUCHÓN" !!! Thanks for your confusion The image was created by me. If you would like me to make it of a specific aircraft, I'll put the Skim of the 1/Jdgfliegerstaffel Spanien Staffel competition.
