ACG_Bussard Posted July 23 Posted July 23 (edited) The German Revi C12/D and 16B reticles in game showing only graduations up to 5° horizontally and vertically. The historical models clearly show a graduation up to more than 7°: Fl.52119 Rotscheiben-Linse, Nachtjagdversion Revi C/12D | Deutscheluftwaffe Fl.52955 Revi 16 B, „1-Scheibenversion“, 1944 / 1945 | Deutscheluftwaffe Shortening the reticle graduation in game makes it impossible to take the angle of attack for the bomb path and the wind compensation angle fully into account, as the visible reticle graduation in game are at some dive / glide attack angles and wind speed exceeded. It´s impossible to hit the ground target precisely at certrain dive / glide angles and wind conditions. Here are some examples of historic service and operating instructions that provide for a higher angle of attack and wind compensation angle of more than 5°: L.Dv. 20/2 for the Ju 88 from October 1940 L.In 3 information sheet on bomb dropping by fighters and destroyers from October 1940 Flight operating instructions for the Bf 109 for the drop weapon from June 1942 It would be nice if the visible graduation scale of the reticle would be corrected for both Revi types as shown. With the Russian PBB-1 sight, it was possible to display the entire reticle. Edited July 23 by ACG_Bussard wording 2 1
