Would you want to see the Felixstowe, HD.2 and Hansa-Brandenburg W.12 added to FC even if we can only fly them over the BoN map?

I wouldn't mind seeing these planes brought over even if they're collector planes. I had a lot of fun with the Felixstowe in RoF and still would in FC. I've been doing bombing raids in the Gotha over Southeast England on the BoN map so we don't need the RoF Channel Map to do WW1 Channel skirmishes in GBs. Obviously there would be no proper Pilot Career for these planes but that doesn't mean there cannot be missions and campaigns and PWCG.

I also have fond memories of the Felixstowe. In blatant self-promotion, I present my most successful vid from the RoF lore of centuries ago featuring that very kite in a short and sad whimsical tale. One day peeps will recognise my genius. 😬

For IL2 GB a Catalina is one of my biggest wished for planes:, flyable too. even as a collector plane.

The Felixstowe definitely yes. It's such a beautiful plane that as long as there's rivers, never mind the Normandy map, it would be worth having.

 

The HD2 - not so fussed. Too many bad memories of 'Baron Von Zlatan' being able to out-fly me in it while I was in a Dr1.

Shouldn't be possible, but he was probably the most talented ww1 virtual pilot I ever encountered.

It's either one of the sexiest planes ever.. or the ugliest.

It is a bit of a work of art.

But it's useless : Can't climb ; Overheats ; Slow as a slow thing ; Can't see bugger all ; Doesn't carry any payload.

I've still no idea how it was touted as an anti-sub aircraft when all it's got is a rear gunner.

As I did write it down several times, I do hope they will finally swap all the DLC’s to FC! I even prefer this more than introducing new planes.
