R33GZ Posted July 18 Posted July 18 (edited) Anyone here use Delan Clip for head tracking? Got any feedback on say Delan Clip vs track IR? Any info much appreciated, Track IR is a trusted brand, but its damn expensive in NZ, about $500 from the look of ot, where as Delan Clip would likely be half that once its shipped. Thanks in advance Edited July 18 by R33GZ
czech693 Posted July 18 Posted July 18 Had Track IR5. Way too expensive and felt that it was too fragile being made of plastic. Plus configuration software was overly complex. Got the wired Delan clip (metal and stout). Worked great but eventually wanted wireless to go with my wireless headset, so now I use the wireless Delan Fuson. Delan clips work great. Way cheaper too especially the wired, metal clip. Uses OpenTrack which is free and I think it's the easiest tracking configuration software to use. 1
Mike2945 Posted July 18 Posted July 18 I second that - I use the Delan clip. I started with the wired version and have moved on to the wireless. Excellent performance and value for money 1 1
Paddlefoot Posted July 19 Posted July 19 (edited) I have 4 different head tracking devices, trackir 5 with hat track clip and with pro clip, Tobii 5 with open track software, Beam eye tracker with open track and Delanclip Fusion with Delan cam 1 plus the new head band and the new mount for the fusion. all of them have issues from wires to lag and flipping every were, but Delanclip Fusion right out of the box work fantastic, no wires ,no issues with tracking, the best of the bunch, cost a little to buy , but man this thing is awesome. i use it with IL-2, MSFS2020 PLUS 2024 and DCS. LOVE THIS THING Edited July 19 by Paddlefoot 1

R33GZ Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 Thanks for your feedback everyone, looks like delan clip might be the way to go into think
