Editing Waypoints as a Squad Leader in Carrer Mode ?

Hello guys, after years looking for the IL2, I decided to leave War Thunder and DCS and go full on in the sim. I finally had the money to buy all the games, planes, etc. 

 

I have a very novice question that has been bothering me. As a squad leader, I should be able to edit the way points, decline missions and etc in career mode? 

 

I don't see how I can edit the way points or declined missions.

 

Apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place. I tried to Google the whole internet and couldn't find anything on how to do it! If someone could please explain to an old guy in a very detailed way, I would be immensely thankful!

You have to edit the waypoints BEFORE the mission in the briefing on the map, not sure right now but I think it’s called headquarter.

 

You can move the waypoints there, and set formation, altitude and speed 😉
