Question: Reason for if mission awards are not added to campaign awards?

While flying / testing a new Campaign 2 times the mission results (air victories) of accomplished / successful missions were not added to the campaign summary awards.

In some respect I have already solved the  issue, either by:

-reducing the number of user campaigns in the campaign folder from 12 to 3.

or / and

-deleting the missionReport...txt files in the \data folder (more than 29000!)

Now the mission results are added correctly to the campaign results.

 

But I am still not 100% sure what was the reason and I don't want to release a  not working campaign.

 

So my question: is a number of ca. 12 active user campaigns or very many of missionReport....txt files a typical reason for such an issue?

I don't have a definitive answer for you, but I have a lot more than 12 user campaigns and I don't see any problems. And the "whole lot of report files" thing seems like a reasonable suspect - you can imagine the code trying to write a report and failing (due to too many, for some reason) and going "well, I'll just stop doing reporting things now". As in, some kind of exception handler just bailing out on the whole thing.

 

But I don't know for sure, so that may all be nonsense.
