I have noticed a problematic pattern sometimes occurring in career escort missions. Often times the flight I am supposed to escort flies at fairly low height directly over the most dangerous areas.

As an example see the attached career generated mission file: during Platzschutzstaffel Pitomnik Ju52 escort mission the transport flight flew over low alt to enemy-controlled Peskovatka airfield where they all got promptly shot down. Now I know that the Stalingrad air bridge flights were extremely dangerous with low success rate and as an attempt to evade interceptors the Ju52 pilots flew at tree-top level as they were hard to spot from high above. However they did try to find the safest routes and flying low and slow over the enemy airfield with high concentration of AA would be out of the question.

I have a hunch that there's some waypoint-related weirdness going on with the mission generation in some cases - for whatever reason there's a FRIENDLY_T-WAYPOINT directly to the enemy airfield with no apparent reason (in fact it's a proper detour for them). Perhaps something to do with the cramped airspace over the Stalingrad pocket area?
