Just upgraded from an 1st Gen Vive to Quest 3 need help.

Hi all, I tried to search for info on the Steam Link software, but a lot of the info is pretty dated.

 

I just got this Quest 3, and the difference from going to the very first Vive, to the Quest 3 is nuts. (I feel my vision is permanently damaged from the Vive)

 

So I have been using the Steam link to fly, but I noticed with or without connection the graphics quality doesn't change, which shows me that its permanently wireless.

 

So my question is... While everything runs good and looks good in Steam Link.. Am I missing out on playing with a hard wired connection? If so, I will look into the VD, but if there isn't a real difference please let me know..
