=NOSIG=Ask Posted June 27 Posted June 27 I have a windows machine where I host two dserver instances. It seems like there is a problem with the second one where the ports are different. Here is what I've done: - port forward 28000 and 28100 the first server - port forward 28001 and 281001 on the second server The problem I have is that the exact same mission where I only change will not show subtitles, not change factory to destroyed. Seems like it is not triggering at all. Any gotcha I don't know about here? Dogfight.zip
=NOSIG=Ask Posted June 27 Author Posted June 27 Figured it out... there are two ways of getting around this issue (if there is one): Multiple IPs on the hosting server: - Explorer -> Right-click Network -> Properties -> Click the network "Ethernet 3" (il_2_server_2 is VPN so ignore) - Properties button - Internet Protocol Version 4 - Properties - Make sure it's a fixed IP and enter your network information instead of "Obtain an IP address automatically" - Click Advanced - Add IP address of your choosing - Enter the new IP for the second dserver sds file - Add port forward in router ex: - server 1: port 28000, 28100 to 10.79.x.10 (default) - server 2: port 28001, to 10.79.x.11:28000 (external 28001 to internal 10.79.x.11:2800) - server 2: port 28101, to 10.79.x.11:28100 (external 28101 to internal 10.79.x.11: 28100) VPN ("simpler" but needs to be restarted on reboot) 1
