Career attacker escort bug (Flying Circus)

Hi,

I noticed a bug in attackers escort missions in FC. I fly with 27th aerosquadron in June 1918, Toul sector.

I'm not the leader of the flight. My flight escorts the two-seaters near the target area but returns to base before reaching it. So I stay alone with the two-seaters against the enemy fighters...

It happens twice.

Hi Luke,

I'm not sure that the mission files in missions folder are about this mission. I think that I've played in the meantime another mission.

I'll send you these files after an attackers escort mission.

What type of attackers do you escorted?

 

In a Sopwith triplane I escorted a formation of Sopwith Strutters. The Strutters have engine failures so one plane after another will RTB on the way to target already. Will the AI protect the returning aircraft’s?

I've just flown three missions in a row : two bombers escorts (Re8 and Breguet 14) and one attacker escort (Breguet 14).

I didn't manage to reproduce this bug... 

The bombers/attackers were escorted to the target area and AI planes protected them to the return. The Nieuports flew a little too quickly so the escorted planes were left gradually behind.

I'll send you a mission file when I'll notice this bug again...

I've been very busy recently.

 

Today, I flew another escort mission in Flying Circus with my American pilot on a Nieuport 28.

My wingmen turned back before the Breguet XIV formation arrived at the target to be bombed. So I found myself alone to escort them.
