Yes. Both as in Soviet and Finnish colors. The Finns captured a few examples.

There were 3 LaGG-3's in Finnish inventory, and one was Series 4. The one that managed to get one air victory (another LaGG-3)

Now where does it say so, historical skins only ? ... IMO it was quite historical, only the swastikas were not there due the restriction demands ..
