Hi, my question is , were my installation files corrupted somehow, or this issue has been encountered by anyone else, I haven't seen videos  nor forum posts on this : the track IR is really strange and useless in the fw-190 3,5 and 8 respectively.  It is a bit awkward in every plane , but the FW-190 is basically useless because of it. And yes, I have tried modifying the setting in opentrack, I fly DCS also, NOWHERE I have this issue : pitch and yaw axis come with a mile of movement along the axis ( pitch : forward -backward and yaw left-righ ). Which means in case of 190s , I constantly lose visual , due to canopy frame which MOVES along if I look up  , like I were sliding forward in the seat whil looking upwards. Did Anyone else experience anything like this ? Thanks in advance for any info, I am really frustrated, fw-190s are one of my favourites and basically useless.

Works completely fine. Must be your files.

A good TIR profile is a must in IL2 GB

Try adjusting your view point, F10 key.

I got Trackhat sensor v2, and could post my profile in case you need it.

THX lads for all the info , yeah, I don't know what to do with the settings anymore. Most confusing is this is the only plane with such issue . Jollyjack, what kind of profile You are saying ? Like how would those values be compatible with with my opnetrack settings ? CPT. Crunch, this is my first time seeing this F10, will definitely see what's what.

So, thx again, have a great day / week !

F10 will save wherever you're looking at that moment as your default view.

Normally that would be bang in the middle looking right through your sights, and done on a plane x plane basis.

Tip - a small dead zone in the center of your tracking axes (L/R and Up/Down) helps you keep looking straight when firing, as well as making re-centering (with F10) quick and easier.

You should only need to do this once for each plane.. if you need to at all.

This might not fix your specific problems, but useful to know anyway.

Tip from James Allen, on trackhat sensor v2, and the only adjustment i've done:

Please try increasing rotating filter smoothing, you can do this in the 'filter' tab in TrackHat opentrack options,

please try increasing the first slider on the page to at least 1.5.

You should also set the deadzone, the second slider, to at least 0.03

it is posssible that you have pressed F10, in cockpit when you have not been dead ahead so you have offset yourself. In data/luascripts/snapviews/ give these saved positions for each individual plane/vehicle. There is also a default directory so you can overwrite the saved position with the default to put you back to square 1 for the affected planes.

Find your description a little confusing - you talk about yaw axis correctly as left right, but you refer to pitch as fwd back. Pitch is look up/down axis same as aircraft. For trackir the fwd/back is X axis (or could be Z), one of them is fwd/back(like zoom), the other up/down as in vertically up down movement(ie raise/lower your seat).

This should help to get your opentrack back on track...
