I have Windows 10 Home and CH Fighterstick, CH Throttle and CH Pedals --and after a recent Windows update, I started to have booting issues. After getting the message: Stop code: DRIVER IRQL_NOT_ LESS_OR_EQUAL
What failed: chdrvr.sys

A fellow on another forum told me it was CH related and if I unplugged my CH Fighterstick, CH Thtottle and CH Pedals, it might boot properly. I unplugged those CH products and it booted just fine. The CH website is inactive -- so --does anyone know how I can update my CH drivers?

Thanks in advance,

Crockett

My computer now boots OK when I unplug my CH products first -- but now I've got to re-program them to be able to fly with them again in the game. It's been so many years since I programmed them, I don't remember how to do it. I can watch the YouTube video's for the basics but I can't find my copy of the keystrokes I'd once printed out -- as the CH Control Manager program is specific about how to input the keystrokes. I've looked online but can't find a copy of the proper keystrokes! Does anyone know where I can find them?

Now I've found all my CH controllers don't work! Device manager shows they're working properly but the game doesn't recognize them! Also -- the Mapped Button in CH Control Manager is grayed out! I've mapped a number of games into CH Control Manager over the years and no matter which one I try, the Mapped Button is grayed out for all of them! I've tried to uninstall CH Control Manager and re-install it but that didn't help! I've uninstalled Microsoft Store on the advise of one guy but that didn't do it either! Anyone have any other ideas to help me get back to flying?

I use CH Combatstick, CH Throttle and CH pedals, but I'm running Windows 11.  I don't use CH Control manager as it's not compatible with Windows anymore.

I just set them up using the built in Windows game controller application.

I would uninstall Control Manager. That is not as easy as it sounds. You will need to use something like 'Revo Uninstaller' to finds all the assorted small files and such scattered all through windows. If any are left intact, they can raise hell when windows boots and drive you nuts. Somewhere there IS a good post/thread or video (can't recall which) about doing exactly that. Try searching CH Control Manager complete (or total) uninstall... I would make a copy of all your old .map files in case you ever want to reinstall it to play other sims (like IL2 1946)...

PS. After your total uninstall, just map the settings you want into your CH gear right in IL2 BoX...

PPS. Make sure all your CH gear is unplugged when you do this and don't plug it back in until ALL Control Manager files are gone!
