zzedd Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Anyone know why after many years working fine suddenly 2 mo ago planes always climb- will not fly straight & level. Have to push fwd stick to fly level which slows speed. Reset stick software, does not appear to be controller problem.
216th_Jordan Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Are you playing Il-1946 (forgotten battles), Cliffs of Dover or Battle of Stalingrad? What kind of controller do you use?
GrieverGriever_XIV Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 could always just fix it with pitch trim
VikingFjord Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 could always just fix it with pitch trim There is nothing in life that can't be fixed with pitch trim
zzedd Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 Thanks- IL2 Forgotten Battles Ace exp pack, 412m, Logitech extreme 3D pro stick. If nobody else having this it must be glitch in game. Did all I could with stick- dload software from Logitech, reset, calibrate. Will try different flight sim if I can find one to dl to see if same prob.
darthdooboss Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 This is because if you fly the bf109's the pitch trim doesn't work...

777KarolisSG Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Hi , I use Speedlink black widow , and I play IL-2 Stalingrad , for some reason I am able to stabilize the German planes , but trim adjustments do not affect IL-2 Plane or other Russian planes apart from YAK.When I do trim adjustments , I can see the handles moving ( trim pitch up/down ) but the effect stays the same , plane keeps pulling , flaps are retracted . If I would do the same , but with the stabilizers on the BF-109 , plane would fly in a straight direction , but IL-2 just keeps pulling up 10 m/ s in a few seconds after I release the joystic. Please help

Please help This problem started for me with the early September updates. Before September updates all was working well on BoS, but with September update pitch up control is kaput! I use a Saitek Cyborg evo force feedback. Other flight sims work fine, but not BoS anymore. I can control the 109F and the FW, but other planes pitch nose up, even the Yak, though it is not as bad as other Russian planes. Shame for me because I want to fly Russian planes but am stuck with 109f and FW. 1
