CzechTexan Posted May 30 Posted May 30 I made a mission for the I-153 with Rockets. Normally when choosing how many to fire, the options are: pair, four, single. I am not getting the "single" option while flying this mission. In Quick Missions the single option is available. What's happening???
Jaegermeister Posted May 31 Posted May 31 I just tested the options; Default = single 1x selecting rocket mode control = double 2x selecting rocket mode control = 4 rockets 3x selecting rocket mode control = back to single The number of rockets that actually fire depends on how many are left on the rails. The electrical trigger starts on the inboard rockets and works in pairs outboard. I just tested it in a simple mission created in the ME and it works the same. I also checked different detonation ranges and it did not change. The only thing I can guess is your controller button was missing that particular selection. Try it again from the default selection.
CzechTexan Posted May 31 Author Posted May 31 Maybe it's because I took an old mission and changed the I-16 to an I-153 and the older logic is screwed up.
Sketch Posted May 31 Posted May 31 I think it's a bug with the I-153 in multiplayer missions. Players on Combat Box are also complaining about rockets not working correctly and not being able to select 'single' rockets.
FeuerFliegen Posted May 31 Posted May 31 It has nothing to do with multiplayer. The bug is if you spawn into a plane with it's engine off. I tried QMB with a parked plane, and it had the bug. I spawned in again with the engine running, and it wasn't an issue; the rocket selector knob was set to roman numeral 1, which was one click clockwise from where it is if you spawn with engine not running. 4 hours ago, Jaegermeister said: I just tested the options; Default = single 1x selecting rocket mode control = double 2x selecting rocket mode control = 4 rockets 3x selecting rocket mode control = back to single The number of rockets that actually fire depends on how many are left on the rails.
