Skycat1969 Posted May 31 Author Posted May 31 In this form, yes. Consider this mod a temporary solution until the EA aircraft are officially implemented into the careers. 1
Skycat1969 Posted August 16 Author Posted August 16 Updated for the Yak-1 series 23. Yak-3 doesn't historically fit into the current campaign careers. I'm considering if I should add it to the end of Kuban despite that. Thoughts?

Skycat1969 Posted August 16 Author Posted August 16 Were any of the flyable regiments in Battle of Moscow historically equipped with Yak-1? Regardless, I can add it to a Mig-3 regiment if that is desired.

Cant remember if I kicked out the Mig or I16 from that sqd. Edited August 16 by sevenless 1

I'm considering if I should add it to the end of Kuban despite that. Thoughts? Historically Yak-3 arrived at the frontline June/July 1944, however the german planes it faced there in June 1944 weren´t significantly different from the german planes in September 1943. The Jagdgeschwader at the southern front were equipped with 109-G6 (in game terms G6 early) and MW50 equipped G6-late (in game terms G6-late) and G14s went to the Reichsverteidigung first and to the east later. IIRC first G6-late arrived in the east 08/1944. So in game terms, although ahistorical, intro of the Yak-3 in say 09/1943 would make no difference except giving the interested user something to play around with until official career modes for 1944 get integrated in Odessa around xmas 12/2025 earliest. My 2 eurocents 😉 2
