Hi, since rebuilding my computer and installing win11, I cant launch into VR. DCS and Elite Dangerous work fine so it isnt the headset or the meta link. My confini isnt write protected as I can change the resolution (and VR IS selected) and it stays. I get the imax type screen and the game runs on that. Has anyone any ideas?

I had the same issue. If running through steam, when you first fire up it asks you to choose whether you want to run in flat screen or VR.

If you want to run with open composite, download and replace the openvr_api.dll in the il2 folder. Then run using any shortcut.

I have reinstalled GBS but it still doesnt work. Swapped the openvr_api.dll from DCS as it was twice the size but that doesnt work. I never have had issues even when I started off with the Rift.

Also make sure that the meta openvr is set as your primary renderer if using meta link. There's a blue dialogue box that pops up.

No, that does not work. You need another file, same name, but open composite version of openvr_api.dll. Go to open composite github, somewhere in the middle of text (with "per game installation") are two links, one is for 64bit, and another with 32bits version; use 64. That is the right way.
