XQ_Lothar29 Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Well, I recently upgraded from an Asus RTX 3080 to an Asus RTX5070TI. The fact is that I've only been using it for a week now and I've noticed some lines in the maritime areas of the maps. So, I wanted to know if any other RTX50xx user has seen the same thing, it is to rule out problems with the Drivers or the GPU itself Here are some screenshots of the map of Normandy.
=LD=Nephrill Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I am using the Pimax Crystal Light powered by a RTX 5090 and I don't see those lines.
Dutch2 Posted May 19 Posted May 19 (edited) @XQ_Lothar29 I do have an 5070ti and could check this in QM. Normandy, French side, any specific spot and time? Edited May 19 by Dutch2

XQ_Lothar29 Posted May 20 Author Posted May 20 (edited) Well, the problem has been solved, after many hours in front of the PC searching for the possible cause. The problem was the GPU drivers. When I switched from the RTX3080 to the RTX5070TI, I didn't do a clean install of the drivers; I simply installed the latest drivers on top. Late this morning, I decided to take a break and get some sleep. When I woke up, It occurred to me that I hadn't used the DDU. So a little while ago, I ran a cleanup in safe mode with DDU, with an extraordinary result. The glimmer of the sea, the waves hitting the French coast—things that, without realizing it, were no longer present when I switched GPUs. If the lines hadn't appeared, I might not have noticed. Thank you very much. Edited May 20 by XQ_Lothar29 1
