"Game is Paused" message is off-screen

Anyone know why my "game is paused" message is off-screen? I'm playing in full-screen. The normal "Escape" menu is centered properly. I've tried playing around with the interface scale (1.0, 1.5, etc.) but this message is always up in the corner.

Is your screen size the same as your games size? Check in the startup.cfg, there are two instnces that have to be the same!
