Leaving the game and have kit to sell

Hey all,

 

After ten years and many purchases, I have decided to hang it up. I haven't played much in the past three years, and every time I return to it, I feel like I'm starting from scratch. I'm too old and tired to continue with the dedication required.

 

So, I have stuff for sale. I live in Tampa, Florida, USA and can meet within a reasonable distance (80 miles or so). Shipping would be expensive, but I will ship on buyer's dime. I would much prefer to sell as one, for which I will give a very good discount. Prices below in US Dollars for individual components--again, I will give a considerable discount on a complete sale.

 

• MFG Crosswinds (first version) -- I bought them used, and I think I have all three cams, but the two that aren't on may be missing (been a few years and not sure where I put them). The one on is the standard cam. Never given me any problems, a joy to use and a revelation after using a twist stick for so long. [$200]
• Delanclip (wired), PSEye with IR camera filter lens attached. [$20]
• VKB Gunfighter III Space Combat Edition--have both a table top plate and the 200mm extension (never used). I also have a J-pein mount for it (its base will need to be drilled for the VKB base if used). I probably have less than twenty hours on this. [$300]
• CH six lever throttle quadrant. [$10]

Just to bump this up, I hear that VKB is now collecting 45% import taxes upon delivery by DHL for shipments to the USA, although it looks like they lowered their price a bit, too. Anyway, if you are in the US and looking for kit, you won't do better.

Sorry to see you go cardboard. I've enjoyed your history posts over the years as they're very well written and informative! I know the feeling of starting over at I've taken breaks from the game for a while and it takes a long time to get back in the swing of things. 

 

I would love a set of crosswinds but I'm in Michigan and I get your desire not to ship. 

 

What will you be filling your time with?

I will ship within the US, but the buyer will have to pay shipping, which would be expensive I presume. LMK if you are interested and I will look into the price of shipping.

Reading and some volunteer work take up most of my time, although I could do a lot more--I am a very lazy person!
