Junkers JU 52 missing corrugated aluminium skin in VR

I do own the JU 52, and the typical and important aspect of the JU 52 is the corrugated skin, but seeing this in VR is a bit strange because I only see some fuzzy 2D stripes. Will this design flaw eventually be corrected by a pure 3D artists?
