I just set my CPU affinity using this video guide. I did not use the memory attribute as I didn’t think it would be necessary. Seems to work better especially as the game is directed to avoid the E cores on my 14900ks. What has been the experience with this here? Just wanted to know what you guys thought. Thanks.

I used it on DCS, but here's a better FREE way if you have an Intel processor for disabling e-cores. its the same if you use it for IL2, just adapt it to address your shortcut.

....... So i finally got a working DCS now with no e-cores running WITHOUT project lasso etc, IMO the easiest way

How? Create a desktop shortcut for DCS. then paste this line in to the top target boc:

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "DCS" /affinity FF "F:\- DCS World Openbeta\bin\DCS.exe"

(F:\- DCS World Openbeta\bin\DCS.exe is my game's location)

PS: thus meant for Intel i-processors only;
The FF is for an 8 main core processor like my 14900K, disables  all the E-cores. F would be for a 4 maincore processor.

That would work but you would not be able to disable CPU core 0 which the OS uses. Lasso gives you that option but how much difference it would make I don’t know.
