Happy ANZAC Day to all Kiwis and Aussies out there. A big 🫡 to all current and former servicemen and women.

 

Took my kids to the local dawn parade this morning. A pretty sullen affair, remembering all that has been sacrificed and given, by people far braver than me. The last post played by a servicemen at dawn really gives me the cold pricklies with a lump in the throat

 

Was good to show the kids, 11 & 14, what it means to remember those that went before us and explain why ANZAC Day is to be respected and celebrated.
