Artificial Horizon

Hey there fellow pilots!

 

Is there a way to add an artificial horizon to the HUD? When padlocked into other planes I find it hard to ascertain what is the attitude of my aircraft and more than once I just blasted a big hole on the ground while fixed on the enemy...

 

Even if this is not possible on stock IL2, anyone knows if there is such a mod that provides an artificial horizon to the HUD?

 

Another solution to this would be a key that turned my head to the front but that upon release (or press again) I would keep my previous padlocked enemy in sight again... is there any view that has such function?

I have a key mapped to my joystick button that re centers my view. Don't know escatly what it's called but it is in the key binds.

 

I don't use padlock, but F1 Should break the lock and return you to the cockpit I think
