Does Pimax Software Install Folder Need Exclusion from Windows Defender Monitoring?

Some posts I have seen indicate that the Pimax install folder needs to be excluded from Defender monitoring. Is that an overlooked "gotcha" that seldom gets mentioned as a Pimax downside?
