Military Orders and Medals of Communist China - assistance needed

Hey everyone, we are working on creating the awards list for each nation right now, and we need some help for the Chinese forces. Right now, we are looking at adding these medals:

- Meritorious Service Medal

- Heroic Exemplar Medal

There was also some kind of "first-degree Medal of Combat Hero" and "second-degree Medal of Combat Hero" in books about Chinese pilots, but so far it's proving difficult to find information about these medals and what they looked like.

If anyone has any input or information about these medals (and any others that might be needed), please let us know.

Thanks!

In my opinion, this is not a medal or an order, but something like an honorary title or name. Perhaps, without any visual embodiment at all.. For example, here are the medals of the Chinese super-hero ("hero of special class combat operations") Yang Genxi - as I understand it, the highest his award is the Hero of North Korea (North Korean award). And there seems to be no Chinese analogue.. As I understand it, the "special class" was usually given posthumously, and the 2nd could be given to living people, like, for example, to the pilot Han Dekai + as I understand it, the award system in the Chinese army was put in order only in 1955, and before that it was somewhat strange.
Here is an article about what a Chinese volunteer could receive - https://www.thecover.cn/news/5794475

Accordingly, I guess, that the Meritorious Service Medal is a post-war award...

RU:

Spoiler

Ask the guy on Youtube who is doing a "History of PLA. " Channel. Look up "Type 56." He will know.

Ask him. He will help.
