Dark Color & Seating Position

Afternoon all  

 

SYSTEM - 

AMD Ryzen 9 5950x 16 core

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

32 GB Ram 

Quest 3 
 

If you look at the Screen shots ...

 -  Does the color seem a little off to you all,  little too dark right?

 

 -  The seating, seems like one is sitting on the back of the chair and and float a little.  LOL

Is their a way to reposition and lock it in?

The image looks either over-saturated and/or excessive vibrance.  Added to that the gamma may be off.  Set it to 1 and go from there.

 

Regarding the head position there are two ways to deal with it:

 

1.  Map the default VR view button (15th command in the pilot head controls), sit normally and push the button (and then adjust to suit); or

 

2.  Disable VR, sit in the cockpit of every aircraft you fly in, map the keys for move pilot head up/down, forwards/backwards. left/right then move the pilot head until it corresponds with historical photos etc, and hit F10 to save it.  Then re-enable VR.

 

Option 1 is far less hassle.
