Celebrating the International Day of Human Space Flight

Today is the International Day of Human Space Flight! On this day, 64 years ago in 1961, Yuri Gagarin became the first man in space, marking the beginning of a new era in the history of mankind. On this day, exactly 20 years later, the first flight of the first space shuttle took place (1981).

 

It is interesting to note that the first man in space served for two years (1957-1959) in the VVS flying MiG-15bis fighters, the aircraft that will be included in our Korea. IL2 series project.
