Rift S - sound works but black screen. Worked fine before...

Hi everyone,

 

Hope someone can help. 

Last time I booted up IL-2 (few months ago) in VR everything worked fine.

Using Oculus Rift S with OpenXR (note: been two years since I used the switcher since never went back to SteamVR).

Now wanted to play again. Oculus had to update Quest Link-app 74.0.0.675.347 (74.0.0.675.347)and also IL-2 had an update. 

 

If I put the headset on, all is well. If I load let's say google earth app all works.

If I start IL-2 the screen turns black. On my PC I can see that it turned to the double VR view and can hear the menu sound from the headset.

Screen remains black...

 

Tried also by switching back to SteamVR which did not help.

 

Anyone experienced something similar or has any clue?

Try hitting num pad 5 on the keyboard, it may be a centering issue.  You can be so far off center your stuck in a deep dark spot.

Thanks for the advice. Sadly did not work

However, somehow after many retries as magically as the issue occured in a similar fashion it vanished :s
