Qcumber Posted March 29 Posted March 29 (edited) Will IL-2 Korea support eye tracking with Quad Views Foveated Rendering? Edited March 30 by Qcumber 2
MOVSTAR Posted April 30 Posted April 30 (edited) Not yet officially confirmed for IL-2 Korea. snaptube vidmate Edited May 12 by MOVSTAR
Aapje Posted May 1 Posted May 1 My assumption is that they switch to native OpenXR, which would make it a lot easier to support this, but that is merely what I think is common sense, not something that is officially confirmed. 1
Dagwoodyt Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Time is getting short. So it seems like there should be some info as to the prospects of advancements in VR features for the new title. Hopefully there will be support for QVFR as Great Battles has now fallen behind in that regard and there is no indication that DFR will ever be implemented there. 1
Mainstay Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I was kinda expecting for native OpenXR support to be honest... did i miss something?
Dagwoodyt Posted October 18 Posted October 18 The QVFR/DFR question has been hanging fire for almost seven months now. If a big Korea announcement is not far off seems like this issue should be addressed, especially if support for eye-tracking/DFR is not considered feasible. Support of those features is required to enable most efficient 5090 power usage.
Mainstay Posted October 18 Posted October 18 I find the silence around such an important piece of tech in a new sim really weird... OpenXR with QVFR made a major step forward when it got integrated in DCS.
Aapje Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Just to clarify, in the Reddit AMA, they said that native OpenXR is going to be supported as an option, but that there are downsides to it. They didn't clarify what they mean by that. They didn't talk about foveated rendering.
