Wheel brakes

Battles of Normandy. The wheel brake is activated in the settings and on the joystick, but the planes  do not respond. It is impossible to land

without crashing, when there is no braking during landing. How do I get the planes to respond to the brake ?

Planes differ in how their brakes work and there are thus controls that work for some planes, but not for others. What planes are you flying and what braking control(s) have you mapped?

If you're flying American or German they use toe brakes on the rudder pedals, not the lever on the joystick.

For all BoN and BoBP aircraft except the British ones you need to map left and right wheel brakes, not the unified brake axis.
