Ju 88 landing gear covers break when gear deploying?

apologies if this is old but i just started flying Ju88, noticed that when i deploy the landing gear, the landing gear covers break off!  i just did a test quick start mission and both sides of the covers broke off on each landing gear housing.  In my career mission when i deployed landing gear only one part of the housing broke off.

 

I assume bug?  or was it some special German engineering to make the plane slightly lighter for landing

I just tested and I have no issues with landing gear covers breaking off in either of the two Ju-88s.

 

I agree with FlyingH that the problem is probably with your speed. How fast are you going when you deploy your gear?

oh, maybe, i was turning in to my final approach to land so i was prob still doing about 250 km/h.   i read in the notes that it takes the gear a long time to deploy so i released nice and early but ok maybe its a speed thing, i will check.

ok i tested it and yes its speed i must have been going too fast, thanks for the help
