Dunkz Posted March 28 Posted March 28 apologies if this is old but i just started flying Ju88, noticed that when i deploy the landing gear, the landing gear covers break off! i just did a test quick start mission and both sides of the covers broke off on each landing gear housing. In my career mission when i deployed landing gear only one part of the housing broke off. I assume bug? or was it some special German engineering to make the plane slightly lighter for landing

I assume bug? or was it some special German engineering to make the plane slightly lighter for landing I just tested and I have no issues with landing gear covers breaking off in either of the two Ju-88s. I agree with FlyingH that the problem is probably with your speed. How fast are you going when you deploy your gear?
Dunkz Posted March 30 Author Posted March 30 oh, maybe, i was turning in to my final approach to land so i was prob still doing about 250 km/h. i read in the notes that it takes the gear a long time to deploy so i released nice and early but ok maybe its a speed thing, i will check.
