Game wont update from Launcher

Hello. Bought the game directly from IL-2 Sturmovik and not STEAM.  Have an account with them. I log into my account to download the Launcher. First of all Chrome and Edge would not download the Launcher. So I downloaded Firefox and it worked finally. Well now that I have the Launcher it wont update????  So what do I do now  What a struggle this has been.

I've had that happen with a failed update. Fixed by deleting the folders in the games "updates" folder.
