Profile picture or symbolic feature

Hi All, Can I or can I not add a profile picture to my forum posts, because I am sure that a recent post says that the powers that be, have stopped that option, for what reason is a mystery.

You can not change it.
 

That was put on hold a while back for everyone because the avatar pictures were being used to make political statements which is against forum rules. New members get a default image

Thanks for that, I suppose its a reflection of this modern world we live in, I am a new member so the pilot image on the left is the default image ?

Making political statements in posts also tends to have consequences... ^^^ Like getting the thread locked and the posts deleted among others.

 

Since the OP is a new member it's good to know about the delicacies of international forum etiquette, I suppose.
