Kubanschild (Kuban Shield) incorrect

Material is missing, as the shield was made out of couple pieces put together, also the shade is wrong, as the shield was made out of zinc and covered with bronze wash. Similar case to Ostmedaille that I posted earlier, but in this case, I have no idea why whoever made it, decided to make it look like this, it was, more or less bronze. The material on the back side was the same material as was the Luftwaffe uniform*, which the badge was later sawn onto. 

 

I think the photos explain, quite well, how it was all put together. 

 

*In general, badges used material of the branch of the army, they were supposed to be worn by, I attached photo reference from Luftwaffe, Wehrmacht and Kriegsmarine.
