taffy2jeffmorgan Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Hi All I do not have any experience of copying and moving program files in Bos, and I am going to install a fresh version of the sim, and I need to install my joystick settings from old to new game. so am I right in saying that I navigate to my input file, open and highlight the files, then send to a plugged in flash drive. Then copy all files in the drive and navigate to the input files in the new game and paste ! I have plenty of space on either my C drive and F drive for the new install. Cheers
69th_Panp Posted March 3 Posted March 3 You can copy the input folder directly from 1 iL2 install into the other new install folder, delete the new input folder of the new install before doing the paste and it will just drop right in without having to overwrite any files.

Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it
czech693 Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I've yet to have to do a full sim install, but I would copy the entire input folder and the startup.cfg file and put them in a safe place, and then re-install them in your new IL-2 install.

Just a last question, If I open and delete the contents of the new input folder will it just remain showing as an empty input folder for me to paste into. Cheers
