IL2 GB not starting with NVIDIA driver 572.60

Dear all,

 

IL2 GB is only starting (Steam start) with blank/black screen on my side and gets stuck with driver 572.60 Game Ready from NVIDIA.

Task Manager is accessible but mouse is not usable in this. Task Manager says IL is no longer responding and idling.

With switching back to 572.47 everything is fine again.

Do you have similar expirence?

 

My system Intel 11900 with Asus RTX 3070 TUF OC and Windows 10 pro .

Same behavior with nvidia Hotfix driver 572.65

Very strange. I fixed the problem with deleting the startup.cfg. After that games is starting in window with lower resolution even with the actual driver.

It even working with the WQHD resoltion and all options.

 

But it stops working when the checkbox for fullscreen is activated in the options menu on restart. I can reproduce that.

 

Thats strange because with the former driver it didnt matter to have the fullscreen checkbox activated or not. 

To have the fullscreen deactivated in the options menu seems not to be a problem because game is starting in full screen.

It's an Nvidia driver issue i believe. My PC with a 4080Super was having these same issues after updating to the latest drivers. I used DDU Uninstaller to reinstall the December drivers which you can find on Nvidias page. And that seemed to solve all my issues as i was having problems in all games. So hopefully that helps. 

 

But my new PC with a 5080 runs completely fine on the latest drivers so i think there's some backwards compatibility issues going on with these newer drivers.
