JG1_Jaus Posted February 20 Posted February 20 (edited) How can I delete a coop mission that has been generated, but I no longer want to fly. I can start a new mission, and I get a message saying that a mission exists and creating a new mission will prevent an AAR, do I want to proceed. I assume saying yes will allow a new mission to be created, but will it delete the previous mission, or just step over it? Can deleting the PWCG generated mission files in the IL2 home/data/multiplayer/cooperative folder effectively delete the mission, or will it cause a conflict with data stored about that mission in PWCG's own files or the combat logs PWCG will be looking for? That warning indicates that you have already flown the mission and can do an AAR. It is there to help users avoid overwriting a mission that they have actually flown. It is generated when PWCG sees two conditions met. The campaign date as the same for the existing mission file and PWCG sees log files related to that mission. If you don't want to submit the AAR for that mission, that's fine. Answer yes and PWCG will generate a new mission. Just be aware that you are eliminating the possibility of submitting an AAR for a flown mission.
JG1_Jaus Posted February 20 Author Posted February 20 I actually hadn't flown the mission, the 'Combat Report' button confirmed no log. I just wanted to skip the currently generated mission. I did try creating a new mission and it appears to have overwritten the one I wanted to skip so I think all should be in order.
