Question about custom skins

Greetings fellow pilots,

 

I have been browsing skins for the planes in this game (I have all titles except Flying Circus) but I don't know where to copy the skins inside the steam folder (I know where exactly IL2 is installed there). So my question is where should I copy the custom skins of planes and if that is enough for them to be available inside the game?

 

So far, I installed skins inside D:\...\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\graphics\skins\ but they don't show up in the game.

IL2 Battle of Stalingrad>data>graphics>skins  In the folder for the specific aircraft for that skin,  then when choosing skins in the setup tab in game you have to click on the Custom tab.
