Team Fusion Buzzsaw Posted February 13 Team Fusion Posted February 13 Team Fusion is shocked and saddened at the news our longtime 3D Supervisor, Tamas Mart, has passed suddenly due to cancer. Tamas was an exceptional human being, always warm and friendly, always ready with a joke. He was also an exceptional 3D artist, being responsible among many other elements, for the 109 series in the game. He was also a generous mentor, teacher and guide to the other members of the 3D team... without him sharing and instructing the new members, their progress would have been far slower. He also acted as quality control for all our 3D work. He was also a key advisor to the team in the area of graphics and overall game development. All of us at Team Fusion are heartbroken at his passing. Our thoughts are with his wife and son. 1 48

Missionbug Posted February 13 Posted February 13 That really is so very sad, please send my condolences on to his family and friends. I think I only ever had the pleasure to talk with him once or twice on Discord, I never knew he was ill, cancer is such a brutal disease. Wishing you all the very best, Pete. 1
343KKT_Kintaro Posted February 13 Posted February 13 So sad. I love the 109 in Cliffs of Dover.. and today I just learned the name of a person who made me pass through hours and hours of pure fun. Thank you Tamas... my thoughts go to you and and to your family... 1
Team Fusion Buzzsaw Posted February 14 Author Team Fusion Posted February 14 We will be dedicating TF 6.0 DIEPPE to the memory of Tamas... he will be recognized in the credits. In addition, the FW-190A's, whose models he created, and which he nearly finished, will have a plaque in the cockpit in his memory. The current game will see a change for the next few weeks... there will be a black banner around TF's logo and his name will be mentioned. I would also like to mention Tamas was first and foremost a Flight Simulation enthusiast, like all the members of TF... he loved to fly online... he was a member of the Hungarian online Squadron, VO101... his call sign was was VO101_Tom. 19 1

I knew Tamás only for a few years, but most of the members of MKHL knew him since the old Il-2 times. In the last one year happened we rarely flew, but those who saw and remember to the MKHL tag, likely flew with him online. We can't belive what happened! Rest in peace Tamás! 1
FTC_Karaya Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I've known Tom/Tamás for many years now and know how passionate he was about flight sims in general and CloD specifically. His work never failed to impress, his attention to detail and dedication was exemplary. He was also a kind and welcoming person, always willing to help. His passing came totally unexpected. You will be missed, rest in peace Tom. 6
