Sun glare in quest 3, does it blind me?

I just started with VR after taking a life with Track-Ir, and it's awesome, but in multiplayer missions or not, the sun and reflections kill me.
Is there any way to fix it?

Thanks

There's a mod that helps in single player, but thats about it.

You can also turn down the gamma a bit. That works for MP too.

Nothing always fly in multiplayer, uff is a torment the range I have it in 1, you would lower it more.

Simply fly night missions.. but avoid searchlights  😉

Well I solved it quite a lot, with OpenXR and the Tool has the options so that the sun does not blind you so much, the pity that I lose the tool to look at the six.

Have you tried this? Does it not work when using OpenXR Toolkit? https://gitlab.com/NobiWan/xrnecksafer

Thanks for the contribution, I've been trying these days but I have not managed to make it work, it opens perfectly not like the other, you put the Joystick buttons etc, but when you enter the IL2 does nothing, at least to me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong...

XR Necksafer requires you to calibrate your position first with a button press, before it works.

Bind one joystick (or other) button to both the game's VR Centre and Necksafer's centre functions and press it when you get into the hangar with the menu.

Being aware of course that your headset needs to be centred in it's own software too.

That last bit is not needed for the Quest. But I also have both the game centering function and the Necksafer's centering bound to the same button.

It would be nice if we had hands in VR, I keep putting mine up to block the glare like you would do in real life, which of course does nothing as my hands don't exist in VR.

It was indeed that, without setting the centering button it does not work.

Thank you very much
