Problem with the X-axis of the tank turret

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with the X-axis of the turret. I can't move it; the turret always returns to its original position, and I can't control the X-axis. However, when I'm in the driver's position, the turret moves on its own. It must surely be a problem with an AI or something that's preventing me from moving the turret manually.

I’ve tried everything, but I haven’t found any solution yet. I hope someone here knows more or less about this issue so I can finally "enjoy" the tank part of this game. Cheers!

I believe the "T" key allows you to unlock the turret and let you have control of it (you may have to hit it twice). 

Use LSHFT+t to nestle to the gunsight...I have a key on my joystick which makes it easier.

 

I also noticed how the turret moves and shoots while I am driving.  I guess that can be positive or negative.

 

I just started with tanks a couple weeks ago.  It takes some learning, memory, and getting used to, but, it gets easier.

Since I set many of the complicated keys to my joystick it has been much easier to manage things.
