Somnium VR1 - any feedback yet?

Have any community members got the VR1?  I’m curious about feedback.

I think most people are quite happy with it.
I had one on preorder but cancelled because of the excessive cost.
I now have a MeganeX superlight8K on preorder and just received the 5090 ill need for that.

Please keep us updated with your MeganeX & 5090 experience, Winger.

I cancelled my VR1 as well, got tired of waiting and bought the Cristal Light as a good stand-in for now.

I was looking at this but the decision not to publish FOV figures, even if approximate and dependent on IPD and head shape etc, makes me wonder.  Feedback suggests 100 horizontal.  I prefer a larger FOV otherwise I'd be very tempted.

 

Your feedback would be appreciated.
