Hi .. weird one:

Yesterday my Thrustmaster Warthog set and crosswinds worked fine in my (NON Steam) setup.

USB game controllers OK, in DCS all works fine.

But with IL2 in keymapping, and game nothing works. No changes game made since yesterday.

Reinstalled the TM drivers, removed all and the reinstall looks fine, the IDs match USB game controllers, input/devices txt OK:

---------------------------------------------

configId,guid,model|

0,%224a0fe730-a26b-11ed-0000545345440980%22,Throttle%20-%20HOTAS%20Warthog|

1,%22bda4c530-ab6a-11ef-0000545345440180%22,AVA%20Base|

2,%22375552b0-5bde-11ee-0000545345440180%22,MFG%20Crosswind%20V2%2F3

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Beats me ..  any other ideas?

ADDED: started launcher with removed updates folder, no mods BTW,

--newfiles8--feb-2025.thumb.jpg.73aa825d49b43d7f64537180feec5737.jpg

rebooted PC, STILL the same behavior ....

Manually rename your controller files in IL-2, and reboot the computer and start the game. If they start working again, compare the new files with the old files to see if there is any problem you can identify, fix, then delete the new files and change the renamed files back to see if you can save your previous mappings.

If the new created files don't work either, let us know.

thnx. you mean in devices.txt? that did not work. also swapped IDs with joyID.exe, the same ..

seems the joyIDs are all screwed up in the controller page ..

resetting permissions for IL2 now, as bitdefender screwed up other programs too, i removed it in favor of avast yesterday ..

Are the controller id numbers the same as what you have in your keyboard settings?  If you reinstalled the controllers and it wasn't in the same order as originally, then they won't match up with your in game settings.

I had to reload an old windows 10 boot partition from an acronis backup to get rid of all the permissions errors IMO caused by Bitdefender Total Security anti virus (back to Avast Premium) ..

That solved it, only i had to reset my USB controller ID numbers. Thanks all for your help.
