=J18=Manfred_Schultz Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Hello whoever dev who read this, I wish you're having a great time, just wanted to tell you that I found a little problem with the Spad 7. Last day I was fighting against some AI's in single player with the Spad 7, after defeating them, I tried to make some aerobatics under bridges (you know flying under the bridges) but when I got closer to the water (less than 100m) my wings started to get draged like if they were hiting the water, but they wasn't so my plane started to shake and wiggle so it was imposible to try any kind of aerobatic near the ground, then I tried to land, and as I approached the ground the same problem happened, and my plane started wiggling left and right that it made the landing really difficult, then I tried with the other spad 7 variant and it had the same problem, I even restarted the game thinking that it was going to solve it, but no it didn't. I think it is a problem with the flight model, but I'm not sure. Anyways, just wanted to post this because FC is a really great game, but it can be even better if some flaws and bugs get solved, so I just want to give some help to the dev's who I know sometimes they're really busy like to personally review all the possible bugs of the game. Anyways, have a good day! S! 🫡

czech693 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Looks like a cross or rear quartering wind causing the plane to weathervane. Which direction was the wind coming from when you took off, and what was the windspeed?

Ghost666 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 If it's a bug, I could not replicate it. Just tried all 3 spads down low, over land and water, and under bridges. Even took off and landed with out hands. (boy did that smart) jest had to adjust for the engine going round and round.\ Have you checked your Sticks calibration?
=J18=Manfred_Schultz Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 Hmm, problably it could be a problem with the mouse controlling, cause I'm not using stick, I'm using mouse, so it could be probably a problem with the mouse controlling configuration of those planes...
=J18=Manfred_Schultz Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 Try it using the mouse and let me know if that way it happens
czech693 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 (edited) Yes, a mouse will have too much movement from slight movements of your hand. I used a mouse when I first started flight sims back 1990. I had a hard time controlling the plane and I've flown a lot of planes in RL. You can reduce the mouse sensitivity in the game settings. You can also adjust the pitch and roll settings to have a curve so that you don't have as much movement when you are only doing slight movements with the mouse. Edited February 6 by czech693
=J18=Manfred_Schultz Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 Yeah, but it only happens with the Spad 7
