Hi everyone,

I've been experiencing an issue with my Logitech Pro Rudder Pedals for a while now. When I fully deflect the pedals to the left, the sensor doesn't return to the center properly but instead shifts slightly to the right.

Sometimes the issue resolves itself temporarily, but it keeps coming back.

I've currently disassembled the pedals following the instructions from this forum thread: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/60486-how-to-remove-centre-detend-from-saitek-pro-flight-rudder-paddles/

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or found a reliable fix? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

That thread doesn't seem to display any pictures, but there's a video showing the procdure; I presume these are the same pedals. The described centreing problem suggests mechanical backlash, and having seen the way those pedals drive their sensor, I'm not surprised. The simplest action to try, would be to grease/re grease the teeth on the quadrant gear, but any result would not be long-lasting. Had I those pedals, I would want to modify them to use a Hall sensor, but it's not a simple replacement job.

One time ago, i have the same issue, is potentiometer fault, I open the whole back plate of the rudder on the bottom, locate the potentiometer and with the rudder connected to the pc, move a little bit the bar of the potentiometer until the red line get centered, with caution insert everything and try to not move the potentiometer until the whole thing get asambled.

Kind regards.

Yes, an electro technician checked the rudder, it's a potentiometer fault 😕 carbon wear. He 'll try to fix it.
